Karthika Menon (born 6 June 1986), better known by her stage name Bhavana, is an Indian film actress. She made her acting debut in Kamal's Nammal (2002), which won her critical acclaim and various honors. In a career spanning eight years, she has appeared in over forty-five films, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages, while winning one Filmfare and two Kerala State Film Awards.

Born Karthika Menon in a Kerala family, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and, assistant cinematographer, G. Balachandran Menon. She has one brother, Jayadev, who currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.

Chithiram Pesuthadi (2006), Tamil movie Bhavana acted as a NGO worker, who tries to change the goon, whom Bhavana loves. Bhavana won Filmfare Best Tamil female debut and won filmfare best Tamil Actress award.
Bhavana is one of the talented Malayalam/Tamil actresses, who can easily get in to a character either it is glamour or family based role.
After this success, Bhavana worked in Veyil (2006), Arya ( 2007), Vazhthugal (2008) Tamil movies.
